Pay2Day
keywords in position one on Google, for a lender that couldn’t advertise on search at all.
Financial services. Solved: search and content.
Pay2Day is a payday loan lender built on a simple principle: the customer comes first.
Problem
In 2017, Pay2Day was a small player with a dozen locations in a crowded market. The stores had the systems and ambition to grow, but almost no online presence. They were restricted from direct pay-per-click advertising and had little search visibility.
Solution
We started an inbound program with weekly blog posts as the foundation for search. Site optimization, quality backlinks and steady content built organic growth. Marketing automation delivered content based on when each customer last interacted, and monthly Facebook contests and boosted posts added awareness.
Results
Four years in, Pay2Day had grown from 12 to 32 store locations and launched online loans. They ranked first on Google for 580 keywords, in the top three for 1,300 and on page one for 3,246.
