Mohawk IDEAWORKS is the applied research and innovation hub of Mohawk College, connecting industry partners, community organizations, students and faculty through collaborative research.
Problem
IDEAWORKS needed a website that reflected the scale, credibility and breadth of its research mandate. It had to serve industry partners, community organizations, students, faculty and funders at once, and tell a more modern, strategic story across research areas, team, news and partnerships.
Solution
We delivered a redesigned WordPress site on a structured hosting setup with live and staging instances. Our managed hosting includes CDN support, Cloudflare DNS proxy, SSL, nightly backups, automated core and plugin updates and malware scanning. The site positions IDEAWORKS clearly, with partner-facing messaging, a research-centre structure, team and leadership profiles, news and direct paths for organizations that want to collaborate.
